So.. I've been to Chew Kee and yes let me tell you what's the difference between this and Chiew Kee just a stone throw away (read the post before).

Same slogan: "No.1 stall for Soya Sauce Chicken" as Chiew Kee

Run by the elder sister, Chew Kee has a much bigger shopfront and seating area.

Ordered their Soya Sauce Chicken Horfun which costs the same at $3.


Dumplings soup also at $3.

So the verdict after trying Chiew Kee and Chew Kee?

No difference!!!

Despite them being in separate shopfronts, it's amazing that they managed to maintain the same taste in their soya sauce chicken! Even the quantity and serving size is the same! I really couldn't tell the difference in the noodles and soup served between Chiew Kee and Chew Kee.

Afterall, same family recipe mah. So to me.. same same lah.
